Mike Baldwin Named Chairman of Depot Division of the Container Owners Association

Mike Baldwin, President and Chief Executive Officer of ConGlobal Industries, Inc., was recently named Chairman of the Depot Division of the Container Owners Association (COA). Mr. Baldwin, an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience, will be serving a 24-month term.

 “The COA is excited to have Mr. Baldwin in the Chairmanship role of the newly created Depot Division,” said Bernard Isoard, Chairman of the COA. “Mr. Baldwin’s leadership will be critical in establishing the Depot Division during its early stages.”

“I am honored to be elected as Chairman for the Depot Division during a time when the depot industry is experiencing many changes that will greatly impact other segments of the intermodal supply chain,” said Mr. Baldwin. “I look forward to working with the executive committee on creating a forum to discuss critical issues with our counterparts at steamship lines and leasing companies.”

The Depot Division was formed during the 8^th COA General Meeting and serves to be a collective voice for the global depot industry. One of the main objectives is to create an inclusive environment for dialogue between depot operators and their trading partners to collaborate on issues of mutual interest.
